Was told parts for recall where on site and my recall would be taken care of. I specifically asked for this because I drive from Emporia. This is the second time I have been to this dealership and both times recalls were not fixed. Instead I waited three hours to get an oil change. I could get this done in Emporia and wait an hour. I’ve spent a total of 7 hours now at this dealership and have had two oil changes and 1 tire rotation. 4 recalls and only 1 fixed. I will not be coming back EVER again except to get the recalls fixed.

I put DEF in the fuel tank. Sabra and the mechanic were amazing!! They walked me through every step. Reassuring me they could fix it. We were traveling through to Colorado and had a tight timeframe. They said they would have it done. They did!!! Even called to check on us to make sure we made it and the truck was doing fine. Absolutely the best service i have ever had anywhere!!!

Empty vehicles were blocking every service lane and so I had to wait for someone to move a vehicle before I could get to a service desk since no service advisor came to me in my car. Another person walked to my service advisor and was helped out of turn. When I mentioned that to Terrance he replied in a rude and disrespectful manner. (I had a service appointment and was assigned to Terrance). There were no other service advisors to be seen otherwise I would have switched to another service advisor.

I paid over $200 for my car to be diagnosed and my car still has the same alert on my dashboard and now you’re telling me I have a new problem. I’m not sure why I even had my car hooked up to the diagnostic thing if you can’t even tell me what’s wrong with my car. You said that it can’t always pick up things if it doesn’t intermittently. My dashboard has said the same things for six months so I guess I paid $200 for nothing.

Biggest problem is I understand the cost of credit cards but came prepared to use debit card debit card was declined, then used my credit card and was charged 68 extra dollar, left the the dealer ship, went to bank, Core First, to find out what the problem was, and they said no reason card should have been refused! So at this time I am not happy with Cable Dahmer nor Core First Bank! Doubt I will be back, for any reason.

I told the first person I talked to I wanted 3 things: #1-an oil change, #2-a complete 'physical' as the car was going to Florida (4k miles est.), and #3-the driver side lock/unlock button fixed. #3 was never mentioned again by anyone (including myself) and was lost in the myriad of repairs caused by #2. Next time. All the personal I delt with were courteous and knowledgeable and, in a couple of instances, humorous.

Great service as always. Problem developed after we picked up our car, took it back to the dealership immediately and they got it right in to check out the problem. Had to keep overnite but provided us with a loaner vehicle. They found the problem the next day and called us as soon as it was rectified. Cable Dahmer is the absolute best and Terrence Wrightsman is the best service advisor we have every had.

I arrived having never been to a dealership for automotive work before. Everyone I came into contact with was friendly and knew their jobs well. Terrance W. helped me get my car checked out, via test drive. I was shuttled to my house by a very nice lady. Terrance kept me up- to- date on what was wrong with my car and helped me with a link to get finance for payments, as I could not pay for my car to be fixed all at once. I was then shuttled back to the dealership by the same wonderful lady. Where Terrance helped me check out and went to get my car for me. He suggested I take my car on a short test drive to see if all was well, I did and it was and has been since I left. Altogether, I very pleasant experience that I did not expect. I expected much more hassle and to be some what majorly unconvinced by the price of the work I knew my car was going to need. However none of my expectations were met. Instead I had a lovely experience and would consider myself lucky, if another unlucky incident occurs, to be able to deal with anyone at this dealership again. Thank you all ver, y very much!!

Everyone at the dealership was very friendly and professional. They made a strong effort to give us a good experience. We recommend two things that could be improved. 1. They charged our EV to 100%. It is our understanding that EVs should be charged to only 80% except right before a long trip, because leaving an EV at 100% for a significant period of time is harmful to the battery. Please let everyone at your dealership know this. 2. We special-ordered our car, and the dealership was never able to give us even a rough idea of when it would arrive, until it actually arrived. It seems that a dealership should be able to determine which cars are on their way to the dealership before they actually arrive.

Service was faster this time, as last time I had my oil changed at the dealership with an appointment, it took three hours. I was charged for a tire rotation, that I was not asked if I wanted and I just got new tires else where and they would have been rotated free. That was an extra amount that I had not planned on. Widows seem to be a target for things that are not needed, but add to your total. I was not happy when I read the ticket and saw why the bill was so high. I even had a birthday coupon from you. It seems that the person who owns the vehicle should be consulted before the service is performed and added to the service ticket. In the future, I may think twice before using your service.

From the moment I arrived, I felt like they were very accommodating. Took my information, explained what will happen, this was my first visit to the service department. He listened to a concern I had, which was addressed. The waiting area was comfortable and service did not take to long. I was then taken to my car and the visit was over. The little video I received going through the inspection was interesting. The only thing, I was not able to understand her real well. Audio was not great, and she spoke really fast. I was traveling cross-country with my family of 5 when the check engine light came on in my 2022 Yukon. We were very fortunate to have it happen so close to Cable Dahmer in Topeka, Kansas. I was able to schedule a service appointment online and have the car in first thing the next morning. When I pulled up and saw how large their service department is I knew I was at the right place. Check in was smooth and I explained the situation, while I was in the waiting area they had people regularly coming back to see how long each person had been waiting. When my turn was called they explained the part that was broke and told me they didn't have in stock, but they ordered it overnight from 2 locations just in case to get me back on the road. They set me up in a wonderful rental car so my family and I could still get around. The part was delivered the next day as promised and they got me back on the road. Its never a great feeling to encounter car trouble while on a road trip, but I was very fortunate to be close to this dealer. I would like to especially thank James Fager and Christy for their communication and making me feel at home!

The service provided was simply adequate. The job was to remove and replace the entire dashboard. When I picked up the car the dash was covered in dust, except for 2 handprints. The trim on the exterior of the windshield was not put back correctly. The car sat while the mechanic went on vacation. They deserve a vacation, but this job should have been assigned to someone else or had someone fill in while the mechanic was absent. I was told I would be contacted daily even if nothing had changed, just keep communication open. I was not involved in the service advisor's communication with my insurance company. Because of this, I believe my insurance did not pay the full amount they should have. All in all, the work seems to be sufficient just not of the quality I expected.

Transmission problems I was told to be operating normal. Well I tell you GM has problem if that is normal. I think there is something wrong somewhere. It is almost dangerous to drive because you never know when it going to jump forward when stoped.

Service procedure in general went well - great people to work with ... however, somewhere during the maintenance test drive and the vehicle delivery - the right rear tire picked up a nail in the tread / tire wall area ... I started receiving OnStar alerts before I was notified by the dealership it was ready for delivery ... I would have expected the dealership to notice something like that, and resolve the issue - instead, my vehicle was delivered with 15 psi in the left rear ... the set of tires had 30,000 miles, and with the location of the nail, I had to replace the entire set of tires at my own expense

I made an appointment ahead of time to bring my vehicle in and wait while brake pads were put on I had another emergency to take care of so I dropped my vehicle off tonight before so it could be done in the morning and then I was to leave on vacation go pick up my camper, etc. etc. etc. It’s getting close to noon and nobody has called me and I checked into my vehicle and they haven’t even started on it Then I was told oh that wasn’t a real appointment that was just a check in time So what I was supposed to wait there all day until they put brake pads on? This person went to lunch and that person went to lunch. They didn’t even start on my vehicle until 2:30 in the afternoon. Then I couldn’t get to pick my vehicle up until after they closed $500+ later As soon as I started driving my vehicle, the brakes were squealing and screeching. Every time I would come to a stop it almost even feels like it’s slowing down my back end, rear brakes were put on So unfortunately, no one was there to talk to. I left for my vacation with squealing and squeaking breaks the whole time. My mother is now in hospice and I can’t afford to be without my vehicle for very long. I want this matter fixed, and if it caused any more damage to my truck, I expect Chevy auto shop to pay for it I have owned many vehicles in my life. I’ve had many break jobs done. I’ve never had this happen before this is the worst brake job experience I’ve ever had in all my 40+years of having a vehicle.

I called regarding an issue with my car not starting on a Friday and was given an appointment to have it checked the next day. Everything went smoothly and I waited while the problem was evaluated and a new battery was installed. It wasn't cheap but repairs on my Chevy Equinox have proven to be more difficult (and so more costly) because of the way the engine is laid out. Apparently, it is hard to access parts. Wish I would have known that before I purchased the vehicle. Anyway, the repair was made and the issue seems to be resolved although I've only driven it a couple of days since the repair was made. the customer service person was friendly and knowledgeable.

Yesterday I had an alarm light come on, and I called Cable Dahmer so I could speak with Terence. He recommended that I bring my vehicle in so he could check the alarm. You’re greatest asset is your staff and especially James Fager he has serviced me and my company trucks since 2004. But you need to completely change your on line schedule system. It sucks, I have to come in a day or so early so I can get James as my service advisor he’s not on the list. The main reason I brought my new truck was so I could get James to advise me. But if that’s what I have to do so James gets credit for it so be i. It’s amazing that such a big dealership doesn’t value customer relationship. Way to screw up such a simple concept.

Also, in order for me to get a loaner vehicle, I had to put $100 deposit down which was taken immediately. When I brought my GMC Sierra AT4 in for the safety recall and oil change, Terence Wrightsman started me out by explaining what procedures mechanics would be doing to check the safety recall on my truck. I appreciated the video after the inspection was completed, and Terence also clarified the service done on my vehicle when I picked it up. On a side note, Amanda Terwillinger, was also helpful in getting me started when I dropped off my vehicle until Terence was able to connect with me. Usually, my husband and I work through Terence, but Amanda also was accessible in getting my vehicle checked in, so my time was well spent. The courtesy drive home while I waited on my vehicle was another reason we continue to do business with Cable Dahmer.

Can’t seem to fix the problem. Just keep saying they are working on it. When bought car, they didn’t show me this part of car fax or I would not have bought it. Important part of information was withheld about the car. So I guess it is buyer beware. Maybe salespeople should have better training in being truthful. Service department try but it seems their hands are tied.

my advisor James Fager was very helpful and the video, by my mechanic, was good. After reading my multipoint I was bothered. Items checked in red were #4, #16, #21, #22. I spent much of the day under the truck looking for the leaks and wear that are associated with these four items. I didn't find anything wrong that wasn't covered by James's initial advisement. I was also told that the estimate was for an hour and a half, I was there for two hours forty-six minutes. Not happy.

The salesman we worked with Jaryl was a great guy, the sales manager on the other hand was absolutely terrible, and we caught him in several lies. Fortunately Patrick was able to work everything out and we were able to complete the purchase. We were told by the sales manager that if we wanted the vehicle we were interested in we would have to buy it today because if we didn’t it would be going to a fleet sale tomorrow. Then he told the salesman to tell us that the vehicle already had the protective wrap installed and we would have to pay the extra $3995.00 for that option to complete the purchase, and we would have to schedule a time to have it brought back in to have it “refreshed”. Upon inspection of the vehicle it was discovered that the protective wrap was not installed and had never been installed. I was very disappointed in that I really believed that dealerships had moved on from using underhanded sales tactics. In our previous purchases (different dealers) everything was completely above board.

My appointment was for 1:45pm and I waited, and I waited more, and even more, not knowing what was going on. Finally, I got a text from the sales guy. He said he was finishing up and would r with me soon. Soon never came. I waited once again. Finally he texts again and asks if another day would work and he thought I had left. No I was still waiting not knowing what was going on. I felt awkward. He said he would be with me shortly. Shortly was not the case. Frustrated, I finally decide to walk inside to see if someone else can help. As soon as I walk through the front door the sales manager greeted me. I told him what was going on and asked if he could help me. He did. I was told they had two sales people call in sick that day and they were short handed. I understand that, but I felt like they didn’t want to deal with me. Like they didn’t want to sell me a vehicle. I understand they were short handed, but why couldn’t someone, anyone let me know what was going on. My appointment was 1:45pm and I left there to go home at 7:35pm. I was not pleased with how they do business.

I brought my vehicle in for an oil change on 1-9. Was told my Ikon GPS wasn't secured and that it would be secured during this appointment. I also brought up my brakes squeaking and rough idle. Neither of those we addressed. I get home and see my GPS is still not secured, I call back up and was told I'd get a call back shortly. Never received a call. Reached out to our salesperson twice to finally get service to call. They set me up for 830am on 1-12. I get there and my appointment was not there but they got me in to secure the GPS (2nd time). Noted again with the brakes and rough idle, vehicle had a code. I was told by advisor the GPS was secured and that she couldn't see it, great! I get home and read the paperwork and see that it said it was removed, I check my app and yep, sure enough I was at home and my GPS was still at Cable dahmer. I called finance to check to make sure we paid for it, and we did. Said hes not sure why it was removed. The video the tech sent said it was a lot tracker and we didnt need it so he removed it, even though work order said to secure, and we paid almost $1500 for it! Came in next day, Tuesday at 830am to get it put back in my vehicle. 3rd time there for same thing! I am speaking w finance and im not sure if this was a salesman but he came in and interrupted me speaking w finance about my rough idling and it not being the tracker for him to say "I took your vehicle over, I have another customer waiting, so" I was like well, okay. And left the office. Made the "new deal" customer more important than a customer thats had their vehicle for not even 2mo and having issues. Service manager brings over vehicle and chats for a bit, says he will call me in the afternoon to set up an appointment for likely next week, when he can get a loaner. I said whenever is fine as long as im on the schedule. Here we are, 2 days later and still no call to set up an appointment. After that conversation I went over and spoke to our salesman to tell him how poorly ive been treated. He was no happy. He and a couple other people checked out the tracker to ensure it was in correctly. They said thats not where its typically placed and had to cut the cable ties and reattach it where it should be. Do big deal, its done. Im unsure how I didnt notice this immediately, but next morning I'm walking to my vehicle and notice a sticker on the outside of my windshield. Its my Ikon GPS sticker that clearly says "this side down", shows my IMEI information etc. I called Ikon and they said that sticker should NOT be visible and to remove the sticker and put it in my door frame. I am very disappointed with every encounter I've had outside of our salesperson and finance guy. The lack of communication and trust is a major problem. People who spend their money with you should NOT be having these concerns or experience time after time.

Amanda was very helpful when I checked my truck in for an oil change, a problem with the back-up sensor and any necessary service. Some items were found, and some parts had to be ordered, but it took several days to get the job finished. That was the only issue. I'd rather have them take their time than do a less that satisfactory job. I took my Avalanche in on 1/6/26 and got it back on 1/12.

One of the reasons I go to the dealership to service my truck is for the knowledge of the tech about Chevrolets and for the convenience of a loaner if I need it. It does cost more to go to a dealer to get work done. This last time I had to get work done it took 3 days and I was told they have no loners to give. This is for a 12 hour job. After the first day I had to call cause no one called me to see if my truck was going to be done and I was told no and that they still did not have a loaner. It would have been nice to re ceive a call (specially after I left a meaasage). The second day late in the afternoon I received a call that the technician working on my vehicle may not get done because he had to work in other vehicles. That makes no sense! If I am paying top dollar for them to concentrate on my truck why are they working on others, specially when I have to ask for rides from other people. Then when I get it back the oil leak that they fixed they didn't even clean the engine block where the leak was. That is not the level of care I expect from a dealership.

I was told the part was ordered on Saturday the 7th and would be there Tuesday. I never heard back from anyone and received a call Wednesday to bring the truck in whenever I’m available and I did not need an appointment. My wife and I live some distance from the town in which Cable Dahmer is. We had tried to plan out our day and then I made an appointment for an oil change on a car I had bought from Cable Dahmer a few years ago. We got our other errands done a little early so we arrived at Cable Dahmer about a half hour prior to my appointment time. I drove in to a service bay and told them I was a half hour early and I'd back out and wait a half hour if they wanted. I was told they were running an hour late so I backed out and waited a half hour. When I checked in I heard to service techs saying they were two hours late. My wife and I waited in the customer lounge for at least 2 hours and finally the oil change was done. Otherwise the service experience was great and I used a discount coupon that I had received from Cable Dahmer for my recent birthday.

Came into have a forced software update. Vehicle was there over 3 hrs. Left the dealership & stopped at a store 20 min later & the update popped back up. I have been there several times to have forced updates done & it keeps coming back. I have to drive over 50 miles each way. 😫 That's mileage, time, & gas for an overall unless trip. Not too mention all the issues I've had with oil changes!! 🤬😤 Frankly I don't really have anything nice to say about the dealership, except Justin in the service dept has been polite & very respectful each time I've dealt with him. They needed to order a part, and it was on back order. When I picked up my husband's car, I specifically told them I wanted to pay for everything including all the charged for the back ordered part so my husband could come in and get the part place and not have to worry about paying anything else. The guy agreed at the time. My husband went to get the part put on and after they were done the guy said he owned like $500, ultimately, he had to pay $200-$300 or they said they could not release his car. We will not go back unless it is a warranty/recall work and have no other choice.

We have a pretty good experience so far with our service appointments. Definitely thankful for our extended warranty as we have had multiple issues go wrong and one 1 thing wasn’t covered under warranty. This last service check wasn’t as well as expected though. A few items were checked that did not get inspected even though they said they did. It said spark plugs needed changed and customer denied work which is false. We were never called about and had the service person actually checks them he would have found they do not need replaced because we personally just replaced them last month. Another issue was the air filter and cabin filter were not checked?? Are these items not checked on a routine inspection?

James Fager kept me informed on the status of my vehicle and called me when new issues arose. Although I was without transportation for the first day or two, he went out of his way to make sure I got a rental to use, at no charge, for 2 days. He even offered to let me use his personal vehicle until a rental was returned. He also kept me informed when new issues came up while repairs were being worked on...the motor mounts. He explained the problem(s) and the additional cost prior to beginning the work.

I worked with Lincoln and a few others. I paid cash for the Buick 50,000. I called him to find out if I could get a discount on the Buick All Weather Matts. I thought they came with the car, I was test driving 2 different ones and was confused which one had the mats. When I asked him about it he said "Your friend got you such a good deal we can't give you a a discount I thought it was very rude". I have a Corvette, Cadiallac and GMC Sierra. My husband only buys American made cars. I expected more to keep my business for my next purchase.
